Macey Robbins and Olivia MacLeod have had big cheerleading aspirations ever since they were in elementary school. When the opportunity finally came to join the middle school squad, they dedicated endless hours towards being the best cheerleaders they could be.
“Carroll is a really good district for getting involved in activities,” Macey says. “It is really special getting to be a part of the Dragon community. Being a cheerleader has made me feel a part of something.”
After a year of canceled events, Macey and Olivia are hopeful for a normal cheerleading season.
“I am so excited for the football games this year because the junior and senior class are all super, super close,” Olivia says. “Carroll’s cheer program has brought me some of my best friends, and I am the most thankful for that.”
After they graduate from Carroll, Macey hopes to pursue a major in engineering or interior design, while Olivia plans to become a nursing major in college.
