Former Lady Dragon soccer players Kennedy Fuller and Abby Mills have officially completed their 2025 CONCACAF tour of duty with the United States Women's National Team Under-20 team.
The United States women fell to Canada in the CONCACAF semifinals, 1-0, on June 6. Per USA Soccer, the loss marked the first time the USA has not advanced to the title game of this tournament in the past 12 CONCACAF U-20 championships.
There was no third-place game in this year's tournament, but the USWNT had already secured their bid to the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup by winning the first two games of CONCACAF group play.
Fuller did not play in the semifinal match per an agreement she had made prior to the tournament with her professional club, Angel City FC, and the National Women's Soccer League.
Mills played the entire match and received one of three yellow cards handed out on the afternoon. Mills' caution came in stoppage time.
In the third game of match play, with the Group A title on the line, both Lady Dragons started and impacted the game. Fuller earned the primary assist on the first goal of the match, netted by Linda Ullmark in the 22nd minute. Fuller also scored the final goal of the game in the 87th minute. The USWNT ended up winning, 4-0.
Both Mills and Fuller, who played on Carroll's 2022 state championship team, now look ahead to the aforementioned Women's World Cup, scheduled for September 2026 in Poland.
