The Dragons, 15-0, will face Austin Vandegrift, 14-1, for the 6A DII State Championship to be held on Saturday, Dec. 21 at AT&T Stadium. This matchup of two of the state’s top contenders is the middle game of a tripleheader that comes on the fourth and final day of state championship competition.
The game Dragon Nation has been waiting for all year is set to kick off at 3:00 p.m., but be aware that the official start time depends on the timeliness of the preceding 5A championship game. The good news is your ticket is valid for all three games, so feel free to come any time after the gates open at 10:00 a.m. There will be plenty of excitement to go around.
