Southlake soccer star Kennedy Fuller is headed back to the international stage.
The Carroll High School graduate and current Angel City FC midfielder has been named to the U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team roster for a June training camp and pair of matches in Spain, continuing a remarkable rise that began right here in Dragon Nation.
The U.S. squad, led by head coach Vicky Jepson, will train June 1-9 in Jerez de la Frontera and face France twice — June 5 and June 8 — as preparations ramp up for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup later this fall.
For Fuller, the selection is another milestone in an already decorated young career.
The Southlake native has become one of the nation’s brightest soccer talents, starring professionally for Angel City FC while continuing to shine in the U.S. Soccer pipeline. Fuller helped lead the United States to a third-place finish at the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, where she scored four goals, led Team USA in scoring, and earned the Silver Boot as the tournament’s second-leading scorer.
Now entering her third professional season in the National Women’s Soccer League, Fuller remains one of 10 pro players selected to the 20-player U-20 roster — a balanced group featuring elite college and professional talent.
The June camp carries extra significance as the Americans prepare for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland, where the U.S. opens group play Sept. 6 against Italy before facing Japan and New Zealand.
