Ava Sexton was named a USA Coaches All-American for the 2025-26 soccer season.
Southlake Carroll's Ava Sexton has added another prestigious honor to her soccer career, earning recognition as a 2025-26 United Soccer Coaches Girls High School All-American.
Sexton, who graduated in May, was one of just 36 girls nationwide selected for the All-America team, which recognizes the top high school soccer players from states that conducted their championship seasons during the winter or spring. She was also one of only a select group of players from Texas to earn the national distinction.
The honor caps a memorable season for Sexton and the Lady Dragons, who finished with a 26-1-1 overall record, captured the District 4-6A championship with an undefeated district mark, and advanced to the UIL Class 6A state semifinals.
A key piece of Carroll’s defensive unit, Sexton helped lead a back line that was one of the strongest in the state while providing leadership throughout the postseason run. Her consistency, defensive awareness, and ability to perform in high-pressure moments helped establish her as one of the premier defenders in Texas high school soccer.
Sexton’s All-America selection continues Southlake Carroll’s tradition of developing elite soccer talent and earning national recognition. The Lady Dragons have consistently been among the state’s top programs, and Sexton’s achievement adds another chapter to the program’s growing list of individual and team accomplishments.
