The postseason honors are rolling in for the Carroll Lady Dragons after another strong softball campaign in District 4-6A.
Leading the way were two standout sophomores who earned top individual honors from district coaches. Bella Garcia was named the District 4-6A Catcher of the Year after serving as a steady presence behind the plate and contributing offensively throughout the season. Garcia emerged as one of Carroll’s most reliable leaders despite being only a sophomore, helping guide a young but talented roster through district play.
Fellow sophomore Olivia Wiske earned District 4-6A Utility Player of the Year honors thanks to her versatility across the diamond. Wiske made an impact at multiple positions during the season, seeing time at first base, right field and pitcher while consistently delivering key performances for the Lady Dragons.
Carroll also placed two players on the district’s first team. Junior shortstop Cate Stoklas earned first-team recognition after another productive season in the infield, while senior Olivia McCarrick capped off her Carroll career with all-district first team honors of her own.
The Lady Dragons added two more selections on the second team with freshman Sadie McCarrick and sophomore Karsyn Briggle both receiving recognition for their contributions this spring.
Rounding out the list were honorable mention selections Audrey Stroud, a sophomore, and freshman Kenzi Fuller.
