Perfect Game and Rawlings recently announced its preseason senior and underclassmen All-American and All-Region teams, with 18 Dragon Baseball players making the cut.
National and regional teams for both senior and underclass players were released last week, with six Dragon seniors and 11 Dragon underclassmen making the teams. According to the lists, pitcher Griffin Herring was named to the Texas Region All High School Senior First Team and given a Preseason All-American Honorable Mention. Ethan Mendoza, Colin Robson, Owen Proksch and Jared White were named to the Texas Region All High School Underclass Second Team, while Cole Bedwell, Zachary Colletti, Nolan Harsy, Austin Page and Nate Rusher were named Texas Region Senior Honorable Mentions.
Preseason Underclass All-American Honorable Mentions included Ethan Mendoza, Colin Robson and Jared White, while Texas Region Underclass Honorable Mentions included Cody Cashon, Anthony Llera, Seaver Newby, Tice Purpura and Armani Terlingo-Knipper. Alan Choo, Ben Tryon and Tyler White were both named Preseason Underclass All-American Honorable Mentions and Texas Regional Underclass Honorable Mentions.
“To receive the Rawlings-Perfect Game Preseason All-American or All-Region Award is a tremendous achievement for these high school student-athletes,” Perfect Game president Jerry Ford says via press release. “We are proud to recognize their talent as they prepare for their careers playing collegiate or professional baseball.”
