Riley Dodge coaches up his players at the 2024 spring game at Dragon Stadium.
After a 15-1 season where 22 Dragons were named All-District performers and another six were named to the Texas Sports Writers Association’s All-State Team, the Dragons’ matchups for 2025 have been announced.
Outside of an additional preseason scrimmage with upstart Waxahachie in mid August, the 2025 schedule is in keeping with last season. Not much else changes except game locations have swtiched from road to home or vice-versa. So get ready again to cheer on rivalries old (Euless Trinity) and new (Trophy Club Byron Nelson).
The season will officially begin on Aug. 29 when the Dragons head to Astbound Broadband Stadium to face the Midland Bulldogs— a team they beat in last season’s opener 48-24. All Dragon fans should have their tailgates set for the season’s home opener set for Friday Sept. 5 when Riley Dodge and company host Hebron, and our community once again celebrates First Responder’s Night.
District play will start with a bang on Sept. 12 against Trophy Club Byron Nelson, followed by games against Trinity, Keller Timber Creek and Keller on Sept. 19, Sept. 25 and Oct. 3. The regular season’s close will see the Dragons host Keller Central on Senior Night on Halloween a game you don’t want to miss.
The Dragons will then celebrate the final week of the regular season with a bye to rest up before what fans hope to be a long and successful postseason march.
