Tournaments have begun, with spring around the corner, and Carroll baseball is already getting attention. USA Today released its annual Super 25 baseball rankings list on March 2, and the Dragons ended up on the list, ranked 17th in the entire nation. Here's what USA Today had to say about your home team:

Location: Carroll, Texas
2015 record: 27-9
Final Super 25 rank: Unranked
The Dragons return six starters, led by RHP Mathew Canterino (11-1, 1.79 ERA 132Ks), a Rice signee; SS Hudson Sanchez (.303, 18 RBI), a Texas A&M signee; and OF Zach Farrar, an Oklahoma football signee.
Keep an eye on C Reagan Rainwater and junior RHP-3B Kole Ramage, an Arkansas commit.
Other Texas teams on the list included Round Rock, ranked 20th, and Coppell, ranked 6th. The Cowboys went 25-6 last year. The Dragons have a 4-4-1 record in games played since Feb. 25, 2016.
