The Carroll Swim and Dive program saw 13 of its athletes become All-Americans last week.
After the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association published its 2020-2021 All-America Swimming lists on Tuesday, July 15, the Carroll Swim and Dive team took home 19 honors from the school year. In the boys' category, swimmers Andrew Zettle, Mason Edmund, Max Hatcher and Jackson Pogue won eight All-America listings total for the Dragons, including placing 15th in the 400-yard freestyle relay. On the girls' side, Hailey Heldenbrand, Bailey Kaiser, Kate Heintz, Corbyn Cormack, Morgan Chocholek, Ryley Heck and Alexis Drap won six listings overall, including placing 29th in the 200-yard medley relay.
The Southlake Carroll Water Polo team also saw Jackie Walters win second team and Whitney Wood win an honorable mention. The Carroll High School Swim and Dive teams both ranked fifth nationally in public schools as well.
