There’s now no doubt at the dominance of Southlake Carroll Baseball. The Dragons were named the best high school baseball team in the state this week by MaxPreps.com.
In its write-up, MaxPreps mentions the 2018 and 2019 state championships Carroll won and noted that a total of eight all-district players are returning from last year, including pitcher Griffin Herring.
This is not the only accolade Dragon Baseball has received before the season starts. The team is also ranked No. 1 in TX High School Baseball's preseason rankings.
With Dragon Palooza set for Feb. 19, the Dragons will kick off this season on Feb. 24 against El Dorado High School. For more information about the team and its upcoming season, visit DragonSportsNetwork.com.
