Carroll football has never been defined by just one era. Long before the Dragon Pride Era (2006-2026), players such as Chase Daniel, Greg McElroy, Aaron Luna and many others helped establish a tradition of excellence, putting Carroll on the map and setting a standard for the generations that followed.
But this is the Dragon Pride Era of our coverage — the players who helped define Carroll football from the past 20 years. Over those two decades, the Dragons have produced state champions, record-setters, college standouts and NFL players, building one of the state’s most recognizable football legacies.
The result is our All-Time Offense and All-Time Defense, featuring players from across the era. This isn’t simply a list of the 25 highest-ranked players. It’s an attempt to build complete units, balancing positions, eras and skill sets while recognizing the players who made an unmistakable impact on the program.
Some won championships. Some rewrote the record book. Others went on to star at major college programs or reach the NFL. All left their mark on Dragon football.
