It's playoff volleyball time in Southlake, and Carroll knows who their opening-round foe will be.
The Lady Dragons are set to face the Mansfield Legacy Broncos in the bi-district round of the 2025 UIL 6A Volleyball Playoffs on Thursday, October 30, at 6:30 p. at Grand Prairie High School. Carroll enters the postseason with momentum, having secured a decisive 3-0 victory over Keller Central in their final district match.
Carroll is in a unique position this year as far as UIL classification goes. Despite coming in second place in District 4-6A behind nationally-ranked Byron Nelson, the Lady Dragons will play their playoff volleyball games as the top seed in the Division 2 bracket. Nelson will play in Division 1.
Mansfield Legacy concluded the regular season in fourth place in fourth in District 3-6A, led by seniorsetter Annalise White and libero Brynley Buck, who have been pivotal in their team's success.
Legacy's recent matchups include a notable 3-1 victory over Lake Ridge and a close 3-2 loss to Weatherford.
