Congratulations are once again in order for Dragon athlete Camryn Tade. The junior girls basketball player was named to the “Dallas Morning News’” second-team all-area.
In recognition of Tade, the newspaper notes that she “averaged 20.2 points and 7.0 rebounds and made 65 3-pointers as Carroll reached the 6A Region I semifinals. She has 1,484 points and 609 rebounds in 99 career games.”
Tade, who was a co-captain this year, helped the Lady Dragons reach the Sweet Sixteen for the second year in a row. She was also named the District 4-6A MVP.
“Camryn is a phenomenal leader both on and off the court,” Robyn McCoart, head coach of the girls basketball team, says. “I am beyond proud of her for this accomplishment and can't imagine a more deserving student-athlete.”
