The University Interscholastic League girls basketball playoffs begin Monday for the Southlake Carroll Lady Dragons.
Carroll, which finished the regular season with a record of 22-9, will face Fort Worth Boswell at Keller Central High School at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 10.
Boswell was a machine in 2024-25, going undefeated in District 3-6A and on their home court while winning 33 games total. It ended the season on a nine game winning streak and finished with a plus-633 point differential.
In 2023-24, Boswell lost in the state quarterfinals -- one game away from the 6A Final Four.
The Lady Dragons had a strong season of their own, finishing the season with a seven game winning streak and a second-place finish in District 4-6A. The squad finished with a plus-330 point differential.
