If the Carroll Dragons football team returns to the playoffs this season, it's possible a game or two might be broadcast on CW33.
The network officially announced its upcoming season of "CW33's Texas High School Football Showdown," airing a live, local high school game beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday nights. The first CW33 game of the year kicks off August 28 with North Crowley facing Lancaster.
While there aren't any regular season Carroll games scheduled for CW33's coverage, it's entirely possible the Dragons will be featured on the channel during the playoffs. And, the network is reserving the right to choose games for the Oct. 30 and Nov. 6 Thursday's depending on playoff race implications and/or district championships -- more opportunities for the Dragons to be broadcast.
Here are the scheduled regular season games CW33 has claimed for 2025:
August 28 - Lancaster at North Crowley
September 4 - Byron Nelson at Lewsiville
September 11 - Plano at McKinney
September 18 - Rockwall-Heath at Mansfield Legacy
September 25 - Lake Highlands at Richardson Pearce
October 9 - Mansfield at Crowley
October 16 - Flower Mound Marcus at Denton Guyer
