When Grapevine CraftbrBrewery (GCB) opened its doors two years ago, we knew something special hadbrarrived. We've shared stories of this neighborhood brewery in print and online, and now it’s time to celebrate two amazing years of hand-crafted beer.
On Saturday, December 5,brhead over to the Taproom and Beer Garden at GCB and enjoy a second-anniversarybrparty complete with live music, food trucks and, of course, great beer. Thebrparty runs from noon to 10 p.m., and as a token of appreciation to supportersbrand guests, GCB will offer $3 pints all day long.
In case you're not abrhistory buff, December 5 is the day Prohibition was repealed. GCB isbrcommemorating the occasion with the Kentucky Common, a Prohibition-style beer.brThis dark, cream ale was one of the most popular beers in the late 19thbrcentury until Prohibition began.
Additionally, GCB isbrproud to announce the success of the Local 3113 Oktoberfest beer and itsbrfundraising efforts. With a total of $3,000 raised for the Local 3113 FirebrFighter's Association, the GCB team feels honored to have had the opportunitybrto give back to such a courageous part of the community.
