Global Village Market is an outreach of Greenland Hills United Methodist Church. With its debut market in 2007, the idea was to bring together the passions of GHUMC members, the need of local and global non-profits and the desire of local residents to experience a unique holiday shopping experience that makes a difference in the world. Shoppers can buy napkins from a sewing school in Eastern Congo, tamales from Emanuel Community Center, donate to help train residents of South Dallas to install solar technology and buy handmade ornaments that fund wells in the developing world.
