Riscky's BBQ annual Rib-Eating Competition in the Fort Worth Stockyards
Riscky's Barbeque -- the legendary 99-year-old Fort Worth smokehouse -- hosts its 20th annual Rib-Eating Competition at Stockyards Station. Up to 30 contestants race to eat as many Riscky's beef ribs as possible in 60 seconds, with top qualifiers going head-to-head for prizes: $500, $250, and $100 Riscky's gift cards. Sign up at the door, first-come first-served ($5 entry, capped at 30). Open to ages 18+; minors may compete with a parent or guardian. Every competitor receives a limited-edition Riscky's t-shirt.
