House of Shine is hosting The Ultimate Gingerbread House Competition interactive, fun, and festive learning experience for ages 12 and up!

Join us for a festive opportunity for creators ages 12+ to build, connect, and embody the spirit of Santa through creativity and community!

Get ready for House of Shine’s first-ever Gingerbread House Competition, a festive, hands-on experience where teamwork, creativity, and connection come to life. This event is more than a holiday activity; it’s a full community celebration designed to bring people together in the spirit of fun, friendly competition, and all things SHINE.

Timing

There will be two competitions, one from 2-3 PM, and another from 4-5 PM, During the intermission, there will be plenty of festive activities to do! Note that creators can only compete once

The Competition (Teams of 2):

There will be a timed gingerbread-building round, and the houses will be judged by a panel - including SHINE SANTA - on creativity, design, and structural strength. Winners will be selected, and special prizes will be awarded to the top team.

Two Ways to Participate:

Team Registration is available for those who want to compete and build and meet the age requirement (12+), while General Admission is ideal for supporters, friends, and family who wish to enjoy the experience without participating in competition.

Holiday Extras:

There will be an area to write and send letters to Santa, a Christmas craft-making station, and an audience seating area. Plenty of festive photo moments and Santa cheer will make the event as merry as can be!
