Sheela Bailey, who is from England, has owned the award-winning grocery store and gift shop the British Emporium for 30 years. Since 1992, she has looked after homesick expat Brits, organized many cultural, Royalty-themed community events and brought the best of British food to the Metroplex. Sheela will be sharing her experiences of moving across the pond and setting up a business to specifically cater to fellow expats missing their families, traditions and foods from Great Britain. She will share ways that she and her store have helped keep fellow Brits engaged in the traditions, foods and culture of back home.
