Dave Lieber, a national award-winning "Watchdog" investigative columnist for "The Dallas Morning News," returns to the rotary this Friday to share about his latest projects. Working on a play titled "PEROT! American Patriot" and an accompanying book titled "Searching For Perot: My Journey To Discover Texas' Top Family," this book is the first biography about Ross Perot Sr. in 25 years.
Ross Perot was one of a kind, a true Texas icon for a multitude of reasons. He created the computer software services industry, organized a raised to rescue his employees from a prison in Iran and helped so many veterans he was nicknamed the "godfather of Vietnam veterans." As Dave would describe, running for president twice is only part of Perot's incredible story.
