Kerri Pomarolli, “Hollywood’s Favorite Clean Comedian,” is coming to White’s Chapel for the Women’s Comedy Night on Tuesday, Sept. 28. The lighthearted gathering is sure to provide more than a few laughs.
This two-part event will begin with an appetizer happy hour at 6:15 p.m., and Pomarolli will take the stage in the sanctuary at 7 p.m. The cost is $20 per person, and child care is available for those who need it.
“In this time of coming back to normal… it might be hard for people to take a step out,” said Pastor for Women’s Ministry Rev. Joy Roberson. “We wanted to provide an event that would be fun and life-giving. This is a good reminder that we’re all in this together and we can all share in the joy of laughter together.”
Pomarolli is a national, headlining standup comedian. She charms audiences with stories about her life in Hollywood as an actress, her Christian walk and her experiences as a working mother. Pomarolli has worked with Jay Leno, Jim Carey, Sherri Shepherd, Carol Channing and Jerry Lewis. She has appeared on Comedy Central, ABC, Lifetime and The Tonight Show (29 times); and she has been featured in popular TV shows such as “General Hospital,” “Young and the Restless” and the Nick at Nite show “Mom’s Night Out.” Earlier this year, she created a podcast with her daughter called “This Is Not A Good Idea.”
In addition to her roles and projects, Pomarolli is known for discussing her faith in and out of the Hollywood setting. Over the years, she has toured with many leaders in the Christian world, including Lisa Bevere, Laura Story, the Newsboys, Kutless, Lisa Harper and Kari Jobe.
