Foodies, prepare yourselves—CraftWay Kitchen has officially opened in Southlake, bringing its sought-after culinary creations to Gateway Plaza. Already a popular eatery for residents in Frisco and Plano, it’s now set to make its mark in Tarrant County.
Known for its diverse and satisfying menu – including an Open Table-rated brunch experience – CraftWay Kitchen has something for everyone, making it an ideal dining destination. Indeed, brunch lovers are in for a treat with staples like steak and eggs, Grand Marnier french toast and freshly made beignets.
But brunch at CraftWay is more than comfort food staples: there’s also Breakfast Nachos and Breakfast Pot Pie, as well as a Bacon and Egg Burger. Diners with a larger appetite can even order a plate of Blackened Shrimp and Cheese Grits for brunch. These delicious mid-day options are why 12.6 million people have left reviews for CraftWay’s brunch on Open Table.
The lunch and dinner menus are equally impressive, delivering everything from mouthwatering starters like crab-stuffed mushrooms and candied bacon to unforgettable main courses such as the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Beer Battered Fish and Chips and a Pastrami Reuben sandwich. There’s also French Onion Soup topped with puff pastry, and regular daily specials like a Wagyu beef meatloaf on Mondays and chicken pot pie on Tuesdays.
Adding to the allure is an expertly curated full bar. Guests can enjoy handcrafted cocktails made by their team of skilled drink specialists. Drinks to try include the Frozen Angel’s Envy, a smooth Old Fashioned and the Tito’s Pineapple Martini. Owner Mike Hutchinson said the team is also currently workshopping a frozen Dirty Grey Goose martini. Plus, happy hour is from noon to six p.m. on weekdays.
“We're all about creating your home away from home,’” said Mike Hutchinson, co-owner. “Our passionate team is focused on delivering not just great food, but a perfect all-around experience.”
Located in the spot previously occupied by the Toasted Yolk Cafe, CraftWay Kitchen aims to inspire gatherings, both casual and celebratory, in its vibrant yet inviting atmosphere.
Hutchinson and crew hope to put down deep roots in Southlake.“We’ve looked at Southlake for a while, and we found a location that we feel fits us,” he said. “We love to be a part of a community and become a neighborhood restaurant.
