Need some zest in your life? From January 9 to 22, Central Market is hosting its annual Citrus Fest. The in-store event, happening at all Central Market locations, will show customers how to best use these products in their lives.
More than 55 citrus items will be available in the product market, which means locals can get their hands on everything from fresh Bergamots to Buddha Hands. But the fun doesn’t stop there. The market counter will offer citrus-seasoned fresh sausage while the seafood counter serves up bright products like lemon dill crab cakes and citrus compound butter.
Central Market will also be introducing two new CMS Sauvignon Blancs from New Zealand this month and many local brewers are introducing fruit beers for the event.
To have a hands-on experience with citrus, sign up for one of their themed cooking classes. Their team will help locals create everything from a citrus-infused Greek dinner to citrus favorites with a Texas twist.
