DFW Restaurant Week is marking a major milestone this summer, with 43 Tarrant County restaurants participating in the event’s 30th anniversary.
The monthlong dining fundraiser officially kicks off Monday, Aug. 10, and runs through Labor Day on Sept. 7, with a preview weekend set for Aug. 6–9. During the event, participating restaurants will offer three-course prix fixe dinner menus for $49 or $59, with 20% of each meal benefiting Lena Pope, the Fort Worth-based nonprofit that supports children and families through counseling, education, and behavior intervention programs.
Select restaurants will also offer two-course lunch or weekend brunch menus for $29. New this year, restaurants may offer a $99 “Signature Experience Dinner,” featuring special touches such as chef’s table perks, specialty courses, or signature cocktails.
Southlake restaurants participating this year include Del Frisco’s Grille, Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen, Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse, Moxies, Rise Soufflé, Rosebud Steakhouse, The Henley Kitchen & Bar, and Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood & Crab. Nearby participants include Bacchus Kitchen + Bar, Ferrari’s Italian Villa & Chop House, Mac’s on Main, and Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in Grapevine, Keller Chophouse in Keller, The Classic Café in Roanoke, and House of Toro Chophouse in Westlake.
Since first partnering with DFW Restaurant Week in 1998, Lena Pope has received more than $3.3 million from the annual dining event. Last year alone, DFW Restaurant Week raised $681,327 across North Texas, including $176,092 for Lena Pope.
“As one of our largest annual fundraisers, DFW Restaurant Week is absolutely vital to our mission at Lena Pope,” said Ashley Barnes, Ph.D., CEO of Lena Pope. “Every single reservation made this August allows guests to enjoy a magnificent meal while directly funding the critical mental health and educational services that local children and families need to truly thrive.”
Reservations are now open through OpenTable or directly through participating restaurants. For the full list of Tarrant County restaurants and menus, visit LenaPope.org/DFWRestaurantWeek.
