Central Market knows the value of fresh — from everything to produce and proteins. Now from March 4 to 10, locals can savor bright fruit of the sea found off New England’s coasts at the grocery store’s Anchor Your Plate.
This week-long event will offer the Northeast’s freshest catches including wild swordfish steaks, New England oysters, Maine live wild lobsters, Maine wild cold water lobster tails, U-10 sea scallops, monk, skate, pollock, haddock, hake, cod, fluke, flounder, ocean perch, squid, Boston mackerel, steamer clams and chopped clams.
Southlake’s Central Market will also host a special cooking class on Thursday, March 6 for Anchor Your Plate. Guests will learn the technique behind making the perfect lobster roll, as well as create a New England coleslaw, corn on the cob and blueberry buckle.
