He ran Kreuz Market from the time he purchased it in 1948 until he soldbrit to his sons in the 1980s. I tried to learn everything and anything about BBQbrfrom him. When my husband and I moved back to Texas from New York, we fulfilledbrone of our dreams and opened Lockhart Smokehouse to bring true Central TexasbrBBQ to the heart of Dallas, Texas. With the help of the extremely talented ChefbrTim McLaughlin, Pitmaster extraordinaire, we’ve grown Lockhart Smokehouse intobran institution here in Dallas.
