On June 5, at 7 p.m., locals can see TV happen before their eyes. Colleyville’s From Across The Pond will unveil its renovation from its stint on “Restaurant: Impossible.” The socially distanced grand re-opening will give guests the chance to dine and take in the new environment.
Hosted by chef Robert Irvine and appearing on Food Network, “Restaurant: Impossible” aspires to aid “America’s most desperate restaurants from impending failure” with only $10,000 during its two-day visits. From Across The Pond owners Lee Herdman and Jodie Sellers have been vocal with their situation over the past several months, even previously hosting a Go Fund Me where they asked guests to pre-pay for their meals so they could, “save the pond.”
Those interested in making a reservation should email the show’s production team at volunteer@restaurantimpossiblevolunteers.com by Friday, May 28 at 12 p.m. PST. Be sure to write “1901 FATP RESERVATIONS” in the subject line, and include your contact information (full name, email address and cell phone number), your party size and the names of those in your party. This event is for people aged 8 and up.
Production will not cover the cost of guests’ meals and reservations will be given on a first come, first serve basis. Invited guests will receive a confirmation close to the date of the dinner. All guests will be required to take a covid test prior to dining and masks will be required for guests.
The show is also actively casting restaurants that could benefit from its help. Learn more about the opportunity here.
