Mi Dia From Scratch is officially 10 years old. Spearheaded by executive chef Gabriel DeLeon, the Mexican concept first opened at 1295 S. Main St. in Grapevine on Oct. 3, 2011.
“For 10 years, our mission has been to bring traditional Mexico City recipes with modern Santa Fe and Tex-Mex influences to the DFW area,” chef DeLeon says via press release. “We are grateful for our amazing team, loyal patrons and the communities we serve, as they are critical to our success.”
Over the past week, Mi Dia From Scratch has been celebrating its anniversary through a 10-day countdown highlighting menu items curated by chef DeLeon, including the Jalisco Express, the duck carnitas artisanal street tacos and the flan.
“The Mi Dia From Scratch team is thrilled to be celebrating this milestone anniversary with chef Gabriel DeLeon’s 10 hand-selected menu items highlighting our unique offerings,” Hartnett Commercial Inc. Vice President Martin Meier says via press release. “We look forward to continuing to serve not only our existing fans and the wonderful community, but newcomers as well.”
