Bagel lovers in North Richland Hills will soon have a new reason to make a morning run. Dan’s Bagels is preparing to open a new 1,460-square-foot, scratch-made bagel shop at 9041 Mid Cities Blvd., across from Birdville High School.
Locally owned and operated by Brandi and Dave McAvoy, the new location is planning a soft launch in late August 2026, followed by its grand opening on Sept. 2. The takeout-focused shop will feature a kitchen and ordering area with no dine-in seating, making it a convenient stop for a fresh breakfast on the way to school or work, a quick coffee run, or sandwiches to bring home.
Dan’s signature bagels are made using a 48-to-72-hour, triple-fermentation process and are hand-crafted for a chewy, East Coast-style texture. Flavors will include classics such as everything and plain, along with jalapeño cheddar, asiago, and blueberry pie, plus seasonal rotations.
The menu will also feature a variety of schmears, coffee, and deli-style breakfast and lunch sandwiches, including favorites such as BLTs and club sandwiches.
