The wait is almost over for Flower Child fans in Southlake, who have been dreamingly gazing upon the cheery lemon tree mural on Main Street that hinted at the restaurant's imminent Town Square arrival. The restaurant has officially announced an opening date of April 8.
This health-forward restaurant has amassed a legion of fans thanks to its delectable clean eats, catering to dietary preferences ranging from vegan to gluten-free to paleo. Devotees can't get enough of their kombucha on tap and dishes like the Mother Earth Bowl, featuring ancient grains, sweet potato, portobello mushroom, avocado and broccoli pesto in a red pepper miso vinaigrette, or their tasty take on Chicken Enchiladas, with guajillo chile, smoked gouda, poblano crema, organic black bean, roasted corn and avocado.
"Southlake's close-knit vibe makes it the perfect fit for Flower Child," Sam Fox, founder of Fox Restaurant Concepts told Southlake Style. "We love becoming part of the cities we serve, and we look forward to joining this community, whether it's for a quick bite before supporting a local sporting event or a post-workout fuel."
Flower Child is part of a fast-casual chain created by Arizona-based Fox Restaurant Concept, marking the seventh DFW location and the 14th in Texas. The Southlake restaurant will be located at 1239 Main Street in the space that TruFire most recently called home.
