After five years of serving premium homemade tea, the Mama Bear Cafe has closed its booth in Southlake.
Since 2017, the cafe has served an assortment of milk and fruit boba teas out of 280 Commerce St., Suite 140. But on Thursday, March 31, the tea shop confirmed via Instagram that it closed after it was unable to renew its lease.
While Mama Bear Cafe has closed in Southlake, the business assures customers that it won’t be permanent. The company states that it is in the process of looking for a new location to move into later this year.
"We love what we do," the cafe says on Instagram. "We love serving you. We love making you smile with our drinks. We choose optimism over despair, and we have been working tirelessly on finding a new home for Mama Bear so we can continue to serve you."
