A new Mexican concept is moving into the former Howard Wang’s location by the end of the year.
Opening in 2011 in Dallas, Mesero is a Mexican restaurant that features more than 60 different customizable entrees on its menu. Characterizing Mesero as “beyond Tex-Mex,” President and CEO Trey Dyer says there are different options on its menu to satisfy a variety of different tastes.
“We’re not traditional Tex-Mex,” Trey says. “We’re not traditional Mexican. We’re not traditional American. We have those things on our menu, but you can find even more on it. We have enchiladas, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, seared tuna, queso. On our menu, there’s something for everyone. The possibilities are truly endless.”
With Howard Wang’s continuing operations until the end of the month, Trey says he expects Mesero to open in Southlake later this year. When it does, he expects Mesero to introduce new and innovative offerings to the area.
“I’ve had my eye on Southlake for quite a while now,” he says. “I think Southlake and the surrounding areas will really enjoy what we’re putting together."
Mesero will open at 1471 E. Southlake Blvd. To stay up to date on its Southlake opening, visit Mesero.net.
