Sfuzzi is opening its doors once again eight years after originally closing.
This & That Hospitality partners Brandon Hays and Phil Schanbaum originally opened Sfuzzi in 1987, bringing upscale Italian dining options to Dallas during brunch or late at night. After closing in 2013, the duo is working to resurrect the concept at 2401 Henderson Ave., according to a press release.
“It was an exciting place to find yourself. There was always a celebratory energy, and we never knew who may walk in the doors,” Brandon says via press release. “Phil and I are looking forward to bringing back the old Sfuzzi memories to Dallas diners, but also help create new ones.”
Once open, diners will be able to enjoy Italian cuisine inspired by the original Sfuzzi.
“The menu will be robust from both food and beverage offerings. Incredible pizzas, flavorful pastas and well-thought-out dishes are key,” Phil says via press release. “The plan is to draw as much inspiration as possible from the original menus – both food and bar.”
Sfuzzi will feature 4,000 square feet of space inside and 2,000 square feet for patio. It will be open 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Monday through Friday and 2 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
