A new Japanese staple is coming to Southlake next month. Since 2010, Sushi Sakana has been serving premium sushi, sashimi and fish bowls to the Plano area. Now it’s bringing its delightful cuisine to Southlake with a soft opening planned for December 10.
“We want Southlake’s neighborhoods to enjoy better food and better life with us,” co-owner James Park says. “After our soft opening, we expect a grand opening two weeks later.”
Sushi Sakana’s chefs prepare their rolls in a variety of ways, offering 17 cooked rolls, 18 fish rolls, 11 no-rice rolls and nine deep-fried rolls, according to its menu. Several other cooked entrees include filet mignon, spicy pork, chicken teriyaki, bulgogi, yakisoba, katsudon and shrimp tempura. The restaurant also offers hot sake, Japanese beer and desserts such as tempura cake and mochi ice cream.
Sushi Sakana will open at 2175 E. Southlake Blvd next month. To learn more, call 972.398.1790 or visit SushiSakanaTX.com.
