The newest addition to the list, the Gaylord Texan has launched a hidden pop-up bar offering guests a luxurious lounge with elevated cocktails and live music. In true speakeasy style, it’s not listed on the Gaylord’s website, and though it’s usually open every Friday and Saturday night, hopeful guests need to keep an eye out for a blue light at the bottom of a particular set of stairs that signals the bartenders are ready to create some cocktail goodness.
THE VIBE: The upscale western with speakeasy vibes are perfect for a weekend evening out with your nearest and dearest.
HOW TO FIND IT: Head to the main lobby and look for Texan Station. Walk past it and take the stairs with a circular “214” sign, then you’ll find the doors open to your left.
WHAT TO DRINK: They have a creative cocktail menu, but you can’t go wrong with the classics here, like a Bee’s Knees.
