It is not every day that Southlake sees a line stretching down the block for smoothies — or a roller-skating banana peeling down the sidewalk.
But that was the precisely the scene at JuiceLand's grand opening celebration in May, where former Carroll Dragon football standout, University of Texas quarterback and current Miami Dolphin Quinn Ewers signed autographs for fans eager for a first taste of the Austin-born favorite. The whole morning felt as lively, wholesome, and refreshing as the smoothies themselves.
After a soft opening in April, JuiceLand has quickly blended into the Southlake routine. The cult-favorite juice and smoothie bar, which first built its following in Austin, is known for fresh ingredients, raw juices, superfood smoothies, wellness shots, matcha lattes, bowls, wraps, and plant-based meals. It is the kind of place that works after a workout, during a lunch break, between errands, or anytime a craving hits for something that feels both healthy and indulgent.
Locals have already staked their claims. The Honey Beary — banana, blueberries, peanut butter, almond milk, and Texas wildflower honey — has become the after-workout order for the boutique fitness studio crowd, while the Acai Bowl has quietly earned elite summer-snack status among the lunch rush. Then, there’s the Strawberry Cloud, which layers strawberries and coconut milk under a cloud of house-made whipped coconut. Think of it as Southlake's answer to the celebrity-favorite dkin-boosting strawberry smoothie that has been all over social media — same glow, no L.A. price tag.
Southlake has also gotten a sip of its own. The Dragonberry Blitz was created exclusively for this location, with proceeds supporting Dragon Youth Sports, making it an easy hometown favorite.
Founded by Matt Shook in 2001 after a life-changing stop at a juice bar near Austin's Barton Springs Pool, JuiceLand has always been fueled by fun, community and a belief that fresh food can help people feel their best.
