If the Texas Rangers hope to return to the same form that led to the franchise winning its first-ever World Series in 2023, the team will no doubt be playing some white-knuckle, stomach-churning contests (See: Game 1, 2023 World Series, 9th and 10th innings).
We suggest going easy on Globe Life Field's new menu, if this is the case. Several items available for order are not for a weak stomach.
But you only live once, correct? Do you really want to depart this earthly plane before trying something called "The Big Papa Potato"?
From the franchise that brought you the Boomstick in 2012 -- a 2-foot-long, all-beef hot dog covered in chili, nacho cheese, jalapeños and onions -- comes yet another iteration of ballpark food you can't find anywhere else. In this crazy world we live in, take comfort in the fact that, at any Rangers' home game in 2025, you can order an item off the menu that will make your significant other judge you and your doctor drop you as a patient.
Without further ado, here's four new foods we can't wait to try at Globe Life Field this season, beginning on Opening Day, March 27. Vegetarians, we apologize.
The Boomstick Burrito
It wouldn't truly be a Rangers season without something Boomstick-y on the menu. Named after Nelson Cruz's nickname for his bat way back in 2011, The Boomstick Burrito is a 2-foot-long burrito (wrapped in a 26-inch tortilla). Since you can choose to fill this entire monstrosity with beans, rice, taco meet and nacho cheese, we recommend having a clear path to one of the many stadium restrooms if you order this.

'Hot Dawwg' Triple Play
Everyone loves a hot dog at a baseball game; ergo, everyone should love three hot dogs at a baseball game. Regardless of when you order, you'll get a chili cheese hot dog and a bacon-wrapped hot dog, but the third hot dog is *whispers* the mystery hot dog. You'll just have to order it yourself to see what they put on that third one. It should keep you up at night with anticipation. Or with an upset stomach. Pro tip: wait for a Dollar Hot Dog Night and just spend $3 for three regular hot dogs. You're welcome.

Bacon on a Stick
Listen, anything with bacon is going to keep us interested. Literally anything. What the Rangers have done is put this delicacy on a stick, like a corn dog, and covered it with a sweet Dr. Pepper barbecue sauce. That's it. It's Bacon on a Stick. It debuted in 2014, but the Dr. Pepper barbecue sauce is a new feature. I already said we're interested, ok? Don't overplay your hand. Just give us one and let us die in peace.

Lobster Roll
Do you know why we love America? Because in America, you can go to a baseball game and order three hot dogs for $33... or one lobster roll for $14. Seafood at a baseball game is an interesting concept, and one we're not going to shy away from. When prepared correctly, there are not many food items in the universe tastier than a lobster roll. Are the chefs at Globe Life Field up to the challenge?

Hurtado 'Big Papa' Potato
Everyone relax! Just because this item has the word "potato" in it doesn't mean it has any semblance of nutritional value to it. We would never do that to you, dear reader. This giant baked potato is bursting with butter, cheese and Hurtado Barbecue's shredded brisket, and covered with Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce. Actually, I take back my nutritional value dig -- you'll hit your daily protein quota if you order this bad boy.
Price: $14.99
