North Texas residents have another chance to support the causes they care about most during North Texas Giving Day 2025 on Thursday, Sept. 18.
Organized by Communities Foundation of Texas since 2009, this annual philanthropic event has raised more than $635 million for local nonprofits across sectors like health care, education, animal welfare, environmental sustainability and community services. Now in its 16th year, the initiative empowers donors to give back in a way that’s meaningful to them — with more than 3,000 nonprofits to choose from.
Whether you're passionate about literacy programs, veterans' services, mental health resources or animal rescue efforts, the NorthTexasGivingDay.org platform makes it easy to find and support your cause. A personalized quiz can match donors to aligned missions, while filtering tools allow visitors to search by issue area, location, matching opportunities, or volunteer needs.
Last year’s campaign raised over $68.3 million across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. This year, local organizations such as Me Squared Cancer Foundation, Loving Long Ears Donkey Therapy & Sanctuary and North Texas Performing Arts are among the many options seeking support from generous North Texans.
Whether it’s $10 or $1,000, every donation counts — and every act of giving helps make our region stronger.
