What are the Southlake Style Readers’ Choice Awards?
With over 60,000 votes in just two weeks in 2023, Southlake Style is ready to set a new Readers’ Choice record in its fifth year. We want to continue to celebrate local businesses, so we are putting the power in our 130,000+ total monthly audience’s hands with the Southlake Style Readers’ Choice 2024.
Readers, followers and fans can nominate their favorite businesses online at SouthlakeStyle.com in over 100 categories from Jan. 4-21. The top five nominees in each category will move on to the voting round which will run from Feb. 1-18. Just like past years, Readers’ Choice winners and the top two finalists will be unveiled in Southlake Style’s April's print issue and on SouthlakeStyle.com.
How do I nominate?
Go to our online ballot to nominate an area business in any of our 100+ categories from Jan. 4-21. You may nominate as many businesses you’d like in as many categories you’d like and as many times as you’d like, once per day.
What happens after I nominate?
After nominations close on Jan. 21, the Southlake Style team will filter through the data and allow the top five nominated businesses in each category to move on to the voting round. Be sure to mark Feb. 1 on your calendar so you get a reminder when voting starts.
How do I vote?
Go to our online ballot to enter your vote from Feb. 1-18. One entry per day is allowed, so come back often to cast your ballot!
Who can vote?
Anyone in the world can vote in Readers’ Choice. However, we will rely on the expertise and opinions of our area’s locals.
What are the categories?
There are over 150 categories that fall under seven groups: Entertainment, Food and Drink, Health and Beauty, Instruction, Home, Services and Retail.
What area businesses qualify?
We’d love to get your opinion of your favorite Southlake, Westlake, Trophy Club, Colleyville and Keller businesses, but we will count votes of businesses outside of our five-city readership area.
Can I add a category?
No, but if there is a category you would like to see in a future Readers’ Choice, please email us at Marketing@SouthlakeStyle.com. Please also note that Southlake Style has separate annual surveys focused around Super Agents, Top Dentists and more.
Can I come back and finish my ballot later?
Yes! Our system will remember what category you have already voted in, so you can pick up where you left off.
Why do you need my email?
By entering your email, you can save your votes in our system and come back later to edit before submitting your ballot. This also ensures that the Readers’ Choice results are fraud-free!
Do I have to complete the entire ballot to vote?
You do not have to vote in every category to submit your ballot.
How are winners chosen?
The top-voted business in each category will be crowned the Readers’ Choice winners, accompanied by the top two finalists up in each category.
When will the winners be announced?
Winners and finalists will be unveiled in Southlake Style’s April print issue and on SouthlakeStyle.com.
