As we wrap up 2020, our team at Southlake Style is already dreaming about what 2021 can bring.
Editor Ashley Bradshaw aspires to use all the workout equipment she purchased in 2020 instead of allowing it to accumulate dust. And staff writer David Dunn vows to get serious about meal prepping and hitting the gym.
“I stopped going this year due to COVID, but next year I want to reinvest in myself and feel it will be safer to do so,” David says.
Both advertising art director Laura Woodside and business development account executive Jenn Rich have literary aspirations. While Jenn vows to spend less time in front of screens and more time reading, Laura hopes to read one book a month throughout the year.
“I already have all 12 planned out! [This year] was full of self-development, and I want to keep up that momentum in 2021,” Laura says.
Co-founder and sales and marketing director Nicole Tesoriero wants to “to safely and confidently travel to visit family and friends once again!”
“Beaches here I come,” Nicole says.
Business development account executive Brandee Champagne, on the other hand, is focused on embracing all things local.
“My 2021 New Year’s resolution is to do more shopping at small, local businesses,” Brandee says.
But after a hard year, office coordinator Kelly Smith-Rose wants to spend 2021 taking time to appreciate the small things. No matter our individual resolutions, Southlake Style collectively aspires to spread positivity and uplift the local community.
