
The countdown to the holiday season can never start too early. The anticipation is already here for the Christmas Capital of Texas at Grapevine announced the construction of a new 4,500-square-foot outdoor ice-skating rink.
Located on Historic Main Street, construction on the ice rink will begin on Nov. 11, according to a press release. The ice rink will be adjacent to Peace Plaza in front of Grapevine Main Station at 815 S. Main St. and will run from Nov. 18 to Jan. 8.
“Families from all over Texas and beyond will be delighted this year when they come to Grapevine and experience open-air ice skating on this exciting new rink,” executive director Paul McCallum says via release. “The rink will be a beautiful sight to see there on Peace Plaza, accompanied by an even bigger and brighter live Christmas tree for the 2022 season.”
