Three DFW cities rank among the most diverse communities in America, according to a recent survey by WalletHub. As part of its diversity study series, WalletHub observed 501 cities across 13 metrics to evaluate their socioeconomic, cultural, economic, household and religious diversity — and DFW scored more than a few spots in its top 25.
With its highest ranking coming from its religious diversity, Dallas was ranked fourth overall in the survey, while Arlington was recognized in eighth place due to its cultural diversity. Fort Worth also placed 25th, with cultural diversity as its biggest highlight, and Plano ranked 55th mainly because of its socioeconomic diversity. Other Texas cities such as Austin, San Antonio and Corpus Christi also placed in the top 100, and Houston went so far as to be ranked first in the survey overall.
