Spring daffodils
Spring has sprung and there's life once more in the air
The Colleyville Garden Club is gearing up for its annual "Gardens of Gold" daffodil bulb sale to brighten up the community. Last year, homes, businesses, PTAs and HOAs participated in planting gardens of sunny daffodils that bloomed this past spring, adding a splash of color and beauty throughout the city of Colleyville and especially along Highway 26.
This fall, the club is selling bags of Carlton daffodil bulbs, ideal for the North Texas region, for $35 for 50 bulbs. These bulbs should be planted in November to ensure a vibrant bloom next spring. All proceeds from the sale will support local beautification projects, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the community.
To participate with your own Garden of Gold, pre-order your bulbs by Sept. 23 at ColleyvilleGardenClub.org. Bulbs can be picked up at the Colleyville Center on Oct. 25.
