According to Wallethub’s Coronavirus Easter Survey, 68% of Americans who celebrate the holiday say their plans will be affected by COVID-19. The study also revealed that 56% of Americans who went to Easter Sunday service will go again if it is open, and the amount of money people spend on Easter is down.
Wallethub conducted the survey online, receiving responses from over 400 people. After getting the responses, they normalized the data by age, gender and income to reflect U.S. demographics, according to Wallethub.
While your Easter plans may be interrupted, you’re probably appreciating your family and health more as the survey found that 40% of people were most grateful for their family and 30% were most grateful for their health.
No matter what you do for Easter this year, it’s sure to be a memorable one, especially if you’re able to be surrounded by family.
