This weekend’s events are almost all festivals so grab your family and decide which festival is perfect your family. From the Spring Fun Festival to the 10th annual Pug-a-Palooza, there is sure to be an event perfect for your family.
Kick off festival season and spring with Keller’s Spring Fun Festival this weekend! Happening on Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside of the Keller Town Hall, this free festival will feature a variety of food and craft vendors and there will be a balloon artist and a face painter for kids to interact with. This is an event your whole family can enjoy because it’s pet-friendly as well.
If you're already ready for Easter, head out to the First Methodist Church in Colleyville for their Easter Egg-stravaganza. Happening on April 6 from 9 to 11 a.m., this event will kick off with a pancake breakfast and feature Easter egg hunts for preschool and elementary-aged children, crafts and games for attendees.
If you want to experience something new, head out to the Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth on Saturday, April 6 for the Water Lantern Festival. Happening from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m., this festival celebrates the water lantern, with attendees able to design and launch their own water lanterns. Tickets range from $65 to $16 and children 7 and under get in free. Each adult ticket comes with a floating lantern and a commemorative drawstring bag and there will be food trucks and music for attendees to enjoy.
Come out and celebrate the opening of the new gym here in Southlake all day on April 6. The Champions Club, located at The Marq Southlake, will let guests tour their facility, learn about membership options, try any fitness classes and there will be activities for the whole family to enjoy.
If you love dogs, head out to Arlington on Sunday, April 6 for the 10th Annual Pug-a-Palooza. This event, hosted by the DFW Pug Rescue Club, will feature food, photos, merchandise and the most exciting thing - pug races! So if you want to see some pugs race, head out to the Legacy Pavilion at River Legacy Park from 12 to 4 p.m.
