Fall is finally here. As Southlake says goodbye to summer, it is also looking forward to the fall with new events popping up around the area. Here are a few fun fall events you can do with the whole family this weekend.
Grab a blanket or a lawn chair and come enjoy some live music as Southlake’s Masterworks Concert Series continues. At 7 p.m. this Friday, saxophonist David Carr Jr. will bring you a rousing performance at Rustin Pavillion. Come and kick back as you listen to his smooth, rhythmic sound serenade you.
Yoga just got a lot better thanks to some furry friends accompanying you. Starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, goats will come to the community pool and splash pad in Trophy Club and will jump around — and on — you as you work out. Tickets are $32 each.
Reading helps children understand the world a little bit better, so why not read to them to teach them how they can shine at the same time? At 10 a.m. on Saturday, House of Shine in Grapevine will be hosting a special storytime for children of all ages. Register now and experience the shining difference.
Are you curious to learn about moths and other nocturnal critters that lurk through the night? Come to the Bob Jones Nature Center’s Mothing & More event at 8 p.m. on Saturday and learn everything there is to know about moths. The come-and-go event is free and does not require registration. Don’t forget your flashlight!
Summerfest at the Gaylord Texan officially ends this weekend, so soak up that last bit of Paradise Springs before it closes! From Friday to Sunday, you’ll have the chance to float on the lazy river, ride down slides and more. Come and soak up the last bit of summer fun before it’s gone!
