Father’s Day Cotton Belt Route Excursion
Grapevine Vintage Railroad is having Father’s Day excursions on Saturday, June 19 from 12:50 to 6 p.m. Spend some time traveling along the Historic Cotton Belt Route to the Historic Stockyards Station in Fort Worth with your dad. Each dad receives a soda and a complimentary hot dog. First-class tickets are $26 per person, touring-class tickets are $22 per person and economy-class tickets are $18 per person.
Father’s Day Campout on the Course
Spend the night camping out with your dad on the Timarron Country Club golf course. Bring your tents and supplies to set up at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 19. Barbecue grilling begins at 5:30 p.m., and the rest of the night will include a scavenger hunt, some s'mores, a movie and other fun activities. Call the clubhouse or use your ClubLife app to register. Moms are welcome to join in on the fun.
Treat your dad to a Father’s Day boat ride on Lake Lewisville this weekend. Hop aboard Miss Gloria on Sunday, June 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. for a relaxing afternoon on the water. The cruise will include a three-course buffet, a variety of music by a DJ and face painting. Tickets for kids 12 and under are $35, while adult tickets are $50.
Epic Waters Father’s Day Celebration
Visit Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. this Sunday, June 20 to celebrate Father's Day. In honor of Father’s Day, Irving Mall is having a splatter day to create a masterpiece with or for your dad. Each splatter painting will have its own one-of-a-kind pattern created with love. The event is located inside the mall across from Vision Works, so park by the entrance closest to I.T.S. Academy of Beauty. Choose a time slot on Saturday, June 19 between 12 and 4 p.m. Tickets are $30 and must be purchased in advance.
