Movies at the Marq: "Incredibles 2"
Head out to the Aria Amphitheater on May 10 from 8 to 10:30 p.m. for a free screening of "Incredibles 2" as part of Southlake's Movies at The Marq series. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and coolers and can expect movie-themed crafts, activities and snacks. Alcohol and glass are not permitted.
Sensory Movie Screening: "Ugly Dolls"
On Saturday, May 11 from 9 to 11:30 a.m., North Texas Sensory Events will be hosting a sensory movie screening for the new movie "Ugly Dolls." Tickets are $5 per person with discount coupons at the box office. The movie will start at 9:00 a.m. sharp, so head out to Cinemark Roanoke and XD Saturday to check out this new movie.
National Astronomy Day at Explorium
Head out to Explorium - Denton's Children's Museum on Saturday, May 11 for National Astronomy Day! As part of this day, the Explorium will have games and activities for children as well as telescopes they can get up close and personal with. There will also be a representative from the Fort Worth Astronomical Society to help demonstrate the telescopes.
If you love music, food and great drinks, head out to Southlake Style’s FÜDTRUKY this Saturday at the Aria Amphitheater from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. This event will feature a variety of food trucks for attendees, has a great lineup of live music and will have a KidsZone and Pet Plaza for all the kids and furry friends in attendance.
Mother’s Day Tea Party Workshop
If you’re looking for a great Mother’s Day activity, look no further than Taste Buds Kitchen Southlake’s Mother’s Day Tea Party Workshop! This workshop, which will take place on Sunday, May 12 from 1 to 2 p.m., will teach kids how to make strawberry shortcakes, whipped cream and sun tea. Attendees are encouraged to wear tea party attire and this workshop is open to kids ages 2 to 8, and tickets are $28 per child/caregiver.
